Our Mechanical Engineering Department from SRM TRP Engineering College had successfully organized Technical Association Inaugural Function-FACTOTUM’19 on 17.08.2019 at 10.00 a.m.

The purpose of Factotum is to inculcate the culture of technical knowledge to mechanical students and also to create awareness about paper presentation skills, Technical Quiz’s, etc.

Our Executive Director Dr S. Raghupathy delivered the presidential address. He emphasized students to get involved in doing research projects and thus inculcating it as a habit.

Our Principal Dr B. Ganesh Babu delivered the felicitation address. He congratulated the students those who got fund from the Honorable chairman for their project entitled “Ergonomically Modified Portable Chair”. He also declared that the chairman has given consent to fund the corporate social responsibility activity of “Miyawaki Tree Plantation Method”

Chief Guest Prof. T. Venkatesan, addressed the gathering with topic “Motivation in Mechanical Engineering” that fetched valuable information regarding how to gain the knowledge of mechanical engineering through linking our day to day life. He also elaborated with real-time examples related to mechanical engineering.

We thank our Management, Our Honorable Chairman, our Principal, Vice Principal Admin and Vice-Principal Academic, Head of the Department and Faculty members, Maintenance Department, Transport Department by supporting and granting permission on organizing the program and finally well supported by all the student volunteers from Mechanical Department.
