A Rich Campus Experience

SRM TRPEC Campus Life Department gives more opportunities to create such networking through various Clubs and other groups to develop natural skills and passions. It encouraging the students to be mindful of what they naturally gravitate toward and also seeks to create an environment where every student feels connected, safe, empowered, respected and included because, when students become deeply involved in one or two activities they are demonstrating qualities like leadership, commitment, responsibility, and a willingness to connect with others and positively impact the world around them. These attributes help them to get offer life skills and would make a solid addition to a campus community.

NSS

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. It provides opportunities for students in technical, undergraduate, and postgraduate institutions, to engage in community service activities. Since its inception in 1969, NSS has grown from 40,000 student volunteers to over 3.8 million by March 2018, involving numerous universities, colleges, and institutions across India.

NCC

The NCC in India was formed in 1948. It is the youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces with its headquarters in New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis as a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) was formed in SRM TRP Engineering College in December 2022 under the National Cadet Corps Act of 1948. It was raised as a subunit under the 2 (TN) Battalion NCC, Tiruchirappalli, with a sanctioned strength of 52 cadets.

YRC

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a part of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and is a voluntary humanitarian organization. It aims to cultivate among the youth a sense of discipline, service, and dedication to humanitarian causes. The YRC promotes health, hygiene, and sanitation practices among people. The Youth Red Cross is a group movement organized for group members aged 18 to 30. The YRC celebrates important days such as World Yoga Day and International Youth Day to raise awareness about its activities.

Clubs

SRM TRP is home to a vibrant community of students engaged in various clubs that nurture their talents and interests. The Literary Club hones students’ communication through debates and writing, while the Robotics Club fosters innovation in technology and automation. The Music and Dance clubs provide a platform for artistic expression, with performances and workshops. The Coding Club helps members develop software skills, and the Photography Club encourages creative visual storytelling. The Sports Club promotes physical fitness and teamwork.

Sports

Physical education, a learning experience, offers a unique opportunity for problem – solving and self-expression and socialization. A well implemented and comprehensive programmers is an essential component to the growth of both mind and body. The Department of physical education of T.R.P Engineering College solely works to develop the body and mind of the student to work coordinately.
