National Mathematics Celebration Day

The National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 11 February 2026 at SRM TRP Engineering College in offline mode to honor the legacy of the great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his remarkable contributions to the field of mathematics.

The  Principal, Vice Principal, Research Dean and Associate Dean visited the exhibition and appreciated the students’ efforts. They interacted with participants and offered valuable suggestions and encouragement. Students also delivered inspiring speeches emphasizing the importance of mathematics in technological and scientific advancements.

The celebration aimed to highlight how mathematics impacts and enriches everyday life. As part of the event, first-year students enthusiastically showcased their talents through a variety of activities, including a mathematics model exhibition, poster presentations, PPT presentations, a short film screening, and a math coding contest. These activities encouraged creativity, innovation, and practical application of mathematical concepts among students.

The event was a grand success, fostering interest and enthusiasm for mathematics among students and promoting a spirit of learning and innovation.
