Science & Humanities

SRM TRP Engineering College

About The Department

Department of Science and Humanities was established in the year 2010.This Department is committed to cultivate the fundamental principles and understanding of science that is capable of enhancing the human experience. Our objective is to provide value-based education to the budding Engineers. The Department comprises of four branches namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. All these four disciplines are headed by an individual. Well-experienced and highly qualified faculty members of the department have made reliable and laborious efforts to improve the students learning and research & development processes. The Department is actively involving in the early development of students’ personality, communication and soft skills to advance them in the modern and globally competitive ambiance. The department has creative science activity centre for students called “Science Club” which inspires the students in writing essays, science articles and participating in quiz program.

Vision

Our vision is to become a centre for excellence in academic productivity. The department strives to create awareness about scientific advancement and social transformations both at the academic and research front. The department also strives to render fruitful service to the nation & humanity.

Mission

To endow with value based education and mould the character of younger generation through Science to inculcate discipline and determination in students through methodological teaching with the aim of making the best citizen.
