Computer science is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation, and of practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems. It is frequently described as the systematic study of algorithmic processes that create, describe, and transform information.
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is established to meet the demand for qualified computer professionals. At present, the Department headed by Dr.S.Hariharan.,M.E.Ph.D has 6 core faculty members apart from many visiting professors, professionals from industry, and researchers.
The curriculum has been designed to the ever changing needs and demands of IT industry. The focus is on effective learning and empowering students to make significant contributions at all levels.
The Department has one of the best infrastructure including labs associated with the computer science curriculum. The Department members have a good record of attending seminars, workshops, symposia and conferences in emerging technological areas. With an objective of developing core competence in the respective subject matter specializations and special interest groups for learning newer technologies, the Department has formed many technical divisions.

Our mission is to educate students in computer science from all over India, including the local and rural areas, and other states, so they become knowledgeable individuals, improving the living standards of their families, industry and society. We will provide individual attention, quality education and take care of personality development.
