Institution's Innovation Council

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at SRM TRP Engineering College, established in 2018 and honored with a 2-star rating by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the college. The IIC aims to create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem and support mechanisms, preparing students and faculty for emerging technological advancements. By educating them on the importance of intellectual property rights (IPR) and the patenting process, the IIC provides crucial assistance in filing patents and protecting intellectual property. Its primary goal is to inspire and nurture a spirit of innovation and creative problem-solving among the college community.
